Grey Gables is owned by Greg Faust and Paulyn Heinmiller Faust. In 2000 we left our careers in the software industry and moved to Virginia looking for a kinder place to raise our two children. We were captivated by the beauty of the Shenandoah Vally and impressed by the efforts in Swoope to keep that beauty intact. Our daughter's love of horses eventually became a family activity which led to the purchase of Grey Gables Farm.
Then and Now
Many improvements were made to the facilities at Grey Gables and we were pleased to offer the services of a riding stable beginning in 2004. Services at Grey Gables include riding instruction and horse boarding.
Nicole Frazer joined Grey Gables as Trainer/Instructor and Barn Manager in 2006. Nicole holds a BA from Virginia Intermont College and attended graduate school at the University of Kansas. Nicole specializes in individualized training geared to the specific needs of each student and horse.
