Grey Gables Farm is proud to host Mary Baldwin College Physical Education class PHE 179 under the direction of Professor Irene Sarnelle. We started offering classes in conjunction with Mary Baldwin during spring semester of 2006. Since that time we have had a wide range of wonderful students,
from those who had never seen a horse "in person" to those who were very experienced "A level" show riders.
All classes are taught by Nicole Frazer. After an initial organization meeting, Fall and Spring classes meet once a week at the farm for five weeks. May Term classes are twice a week for two weeks and once a week for the last week. Students are grouped by abilities and no class ever has more than three students at a time. Our preference is that classes have only two students as we believe this is the best learning experience for the student. We also make every effort to hold class during time slots that work well with student's academic schedules.
The organizational class for Spring Term 2012 will be held on February 15 , 2012 at 6:00 pm in the Physical Activity Center (PAC) room 106. At that time we will introduce ourselves and our Instructor, go over the course syllabus, discuss all the logistics and paperwork and answer any questions students may have. We expect classes to begin on Monday ? 2012 -- hopefully sooner if schedules work out. They will continue for five weeks. Make up classes may be held depending upon scheduling issues. We look forward to meeting all the new students each term.
Feel free to email Grey Gables or Professor Sarnelle if you have any questions.

Nicole joins her Japanese students at an end of year goodbye party.
